Lesley, I sometimes wonder how I'd find photographing in a studio. I suspect the art and skill of studio portraiture must differ hugely from these portraits.
RR, that's certainly something to consider. A portfolio of prints would probably be a good starting point.

Pete, I do like the simplicity of your portraits, with just that hint of out-of-focus context.
