Alpine faun(a) [Terry on Mt Lord]

Alpine wildlife
In February 2004, Terry, Jono, Andrew and I climbed Mt Lord and settled down near the summit to eat lunch in the sun. I snapped a few photos with my little Pentax Optio 555, but as I pointed it towards Vane Stream, far below, Terry popped up into the frame. One never knows what remarkable things will appear on mountaintops.

Looks like an episode of the original 'Twilight Zone,' with Rod Serling, with some guys stranded on an alien planet ... ;-)

Zhoen, that's a wonderful photo. Thanks :^D

Barbara, true. Those retro snowglasses could be x-ray vision devices... ;^)

Remarkable indeed! Love the figure-ground play in this one. And the banality of eating in such a wonderful place. Just an ordinary day...
