Robb, young boys are pretty good at it, but I reckon teenagers are the true masters of The Look (after cats, of course).
Zhoen, it seems unlikely. Apparently he wasn't keen on animals. I guess one could speculate endlessly whether that was a cause or a consequence of his philosophy. I'd opt for the former: maybe he was on the receiving end of a look like that from a cat, and the spontaneous recognition of his own inferiority to felines sparked his existential angst?
Do you know just how hard my university students try to perfect that look? (they always end up just looking sleepy or sulky). Cats don't even have to TRY to look cool! It's just NO FAIR!
word verification today: "boxessed" Wonder if I can use that?
Miguel, I'm currently tutoring a University class late on a Friday afternoon. They're generally pretty good, but it's quite a challenge keeping them engaged in a time slot like that, and I've seen some interesting expressions ;^)
Ha! Sartre vs Nietzsche would be great but I'd be utterly unqualified to teach it. Photography, now that would be wonderful, but in fact it's "Communication in the Sciences".

Don't read him Sartre, either, or this is the response you'll get ...
Kia ora Pete,
The young boys here interpet The Look as saying, "Don't make me get up mate".
Cheers
Robb, Charlie, and T

I wonder what kind of class you'd be teaching? Entomology? Photography? Sartre Versus Nietsche? ;^)
