Crisp kelp, dry driftwood

BeachAt Flounder Bay in May this year the beach often looked like this. Sea, sand and sky; clouds and the wind. A few birds, hunched, facing into the wind or running on pink legs. Cold, but not the kind that drives one to despair. In summer you'd fry out here.

Oh yes. Bring it on - summer, that is. I love this picture, the simplicity of it, and the colour of that gorgeous ocean. Very inviting.

Lucky bleeda's you lot!.. about to head into summer.... sat here in two fleeces at the moment.. love the desolation in this pic :-)

Watercats, well, if it's any consolation, it's not exactly warm here today. Grey and raining. But the forecast's fine for tomorrow. Sorry ;^)
