Flounder Bay, evening

Hawke BayJust over a month ago we sat in the evening on the goat track above Flounder Bay and watched night coming in, the ocean's heave, time passing. Or did this moment last forever?

wow... truly inspiring! and scary at the same time (I'm afraid of large masses of water)
but you leveled the horizon line really parallel to the square edges of the shot. the clouds look more restless than the water :) beautiful shot.

D.V.A., thanks. Off-level horizons annoy me; they seem like mistakes. But I know other very accomplished photographers who prefer them, so I guess it's just a personal preference. Glad you appreciate the photo :^)
