Tailorbird, Kileshwar

These little birds seem continuously on the move. Add to that their fondness for the shade beneath the foliage, and they weren't easy to photograph. While this is less than technically excellent (this is better), I like the way it conveys something of the bird's character.

Yes, as full of character as a little cartoon!
How can those tiny wings support anything? Is it a juvenile?

I was thinking the same thing, those don't look like wings that would lift even this little guy.

Such eagerness.

A very nice photo of a definite force of nature ... reminds me a bit of the little ones I've been seeing in the dogwood in my shady courtyard ...

RR, it looked to be an adult. I doubt they do much more than flit about, so probably don't need big strong wings, but I don't know a great deal about them.

Zhoen, true, but I guess they don't have much to lift ;^)

Barbara, I suspect these birds appear in various manifestations in most parts of the world!
