A fence like this, still (barely) functional, leaning with the weight of age and tension maintained too long, gradually becoming home to more and more plant and animal life, contains so much more than a taut new fence.
"Welcome home", it says.

Another great image. I'm really enjoying the series of BW shots. I haven't had time to work on my blog and my images because of apartment hunting and moving, but so many of my recent images seem to reflect yours, in that I've been working with a lot of BW, using RAW 1:1, square frame. I started out in BW when I was 10 and still find something about it that makes me look "closer" around me for some reason.
Good stuff, Pete.
Thanks Miguel :^) Sometimes I have B&W periods, yet I'm not sure why. But the next post will be somewhat different ;^P
