Roadside grasses

Roadside grasses
Here in the Pohangina Valley Spring's well under way. These grasses were flowering on the roadside in the cutting below my place; mostly shaded by the near vertical bank, they nevertheless picked up a little direct sunlight.

I stop by every morning, Pete, to enjoy the daily addition to your gallery. The variety of subjects increases my interest. Here, you again show your eye for the ordinary, showing it to us as something not so ordinary after all. I like the way these grasses have caught the sunlight. It would have been a fleeting moment in which they appeared just like this.

Thanks Peregrina. I think when one works on noticing the commonplace, the commonplace can reveal extraordinary things. It's a matter of paying attention.
