More korimako

Yes, another korimako (male), but I like these glimpses. This is how I usually see them.

Zhoen, I'm constantly amazed at how much expression birds can get into a look even though they have apparently have almost no ability to do that.

All it takes is a head tilt and intention. Muppets are very expressive, and have no facial muscles. A slight change in the opening of the eye. We are emotional beings, from snakes on up, it's what keeps us alive. Our societies, not our tech or evolutionary advances. That's just refinement, not essential.

Good point, Zhoen, particularly about the head tilt. I'll notice that more, now.
