Evening on the Nyika Plateau, Malawi

Nyika PlateauAs the light began to fade, I drove slowly back to camp, hoping I might see a leopard. I had to settle for this and a few other delights.

What a dreamy landscape. I love the colours. [I think I say that for every photo!]

The landscape and light remind me of parts of California. I get a real sense of the distance and how far you can see there.

Anne-Marie, I have to accept that these colours won't be fairly represented on many monitors. Glad they've worked for you, though :^)

Robin andrea, there's a real sense of distance and remoteness on the Plateau. It's a wonderful place, but I fear for its future.
