Breakfast at Karnprayag
At Karnprayag (it has several alternative spellings but this seems to best approximate the pronunciation), I ate breakfast while waiting for the bus. This was a typical shop and the food was delicious.

More information, please. You may see I'm collecting food ideas!
What is in those great dishes?
RR, to be honest, my recollection's not great. Mostly a kind of soup/dahl mixture — lentils, chickpeas, tomato, etc. Very tasty, but I suspect the recipes aren't fixed but instead depend on what's available. Omelettes were readily available, too, and of course the various flat breads (roti, naan, chapatis, paratha, etc.) were ubiquitous (and wonderful).
It's scary how much I've forgotten. Time to refresh my memories, perhaps: to shore up the ruins.
