Winter morning, Pohangina Valley

A few days short of the shortest day, this was the view from my verandah.

(I still can't work out why blogger insists on enlarging my photographs and destroying the sharpness, even though I've specified 'Original size'. The original of this is beautifully crisp. Sigh.

What a glorious view to have from your back door.
It's over 30 degrees outside mine this week. Even I have given up gardening. Enjoy the coolth.

RR, I'll admit that winter has some good features, but I'm not really built for it. Bring on the warmth. (And thanks for bringing 'coolth' to my attention. I didn't know it was an actual word.)
