The views of Kangchenjunga weren't the only reason I wanted to visit Darjeeling. I drank a lot of tea during my time there, and this was an example of a tasting of four second-flush Darjeelings. I had a distinct preference for the one on the far left: the Castleton 'second flush tippy clonal'.

Lisa, perhaps surprisingly, not all were delicious. One had flavours that seemed slightly mouldy to me. Not at all appealing. The Castleton 'tippy clonal', however, was definitely delicious.
Zhoen, see my reply to Lisa. At least one was yum, though.
I love the golden glow of this, enhanced by the tones of red.
