
Among the few successful photographs I managed last weekend, this is one of my favourites, not because of any particular photographic merit but simply because I love these birds.

No wonder you love them. That orange just jumped out at me, the slight rumpling of feathers. What a charmingly goofy being.
A simply stunning proof that 'red eye' in a photograph is not always a bad thing...
