A wooden bridge crosses a small stream at the start of the trail to Laguna 69. Fed by glacial meltwater, the stream rose noticeably during the course of the day.

That blue glacier melt water. I can smell it, and it does have a distinct aroma. Not to mention temperature.
Zhoen, yes. The smell was particularly noticeable where we climbed near the end of the glacier a couple of days later.
Excellent shot Pete. Like the way you framed the bottom of the shot with the footbridge.
