Different ways of life
The young guys had just ventured into the river and seemed keen to be included when I photographed my “guides”.
Mid November 2006. I wonder where they are now; what they’re doing; how they’ve lived in the years since I met them.

  1. “Different ways of life”

I wonder more about different ways of thinking.

Yes, lives are different throughout the world, but do people generally think different than everyone else?

You captured a wonderful moment in time -- a great sense of good feelings emanates from this photo.

  2. Thanks Paul. Yes, good point — the way we think connects as well as differentiates us. One of the things I found so frustrating in some parts of India was being unable to speak the local language. Gestures, smiles and body language have only limited power to convey thoughts.

Constructive criticism is welcomed (I particularly appreciate thoughts on what you like and don't like), but please keep it courteous.
