Stunning Pete. You can sense the stillness of the air.
WOW. i love your photos and this one makes my heart jump.
Oooh, lovely. What a beautiful spot. Did you go for a swim?
Amazing that rooted things can evoke a ballet ...
Cheers Clare. Now we've just had a cold snap it's hard to recall that heat — but I wish I could!Leonie, thanks :^)Anne-Marie, no, no swim. Where it wasn't too shallow, it was too weedy or too cold... anyway, you know me. If it's less than tepid, I'm reluctant ;^PBarbara, true — I'm sure there's a fancy French name for this pose ;^)
A lovely image of the kind of weather I dread. Heavy and oppressive. Nor would I wade there, though I'm sure the willow is happy.
Zhoen, when we first arrived at this spot the weather was much brighter — hot but without the oppressiveness. The cloud gradually built up as a front approached. I photographed this on the way back.
Constructive criticism is welcomed (I particularly appreciate thoughts on what you like and don't like), but please keep it courteous.
