  1. I just love these beautiful birds - and to see them so close up, tiny whiskers and fine feathers, the ridges on their fine claws, is such a joy.

  3. Lisa, they're delightful wee birds. Frustrating to try photographing, too. It's always on their terms. This afternoon I managed one photograph: the imp jumped through 180° just as I pressed the shutter button, and I ended up with a lovely photograph of its bum.
