Entering Wellington Harbour; rain on the way

It probably looked like this a thousand years ago
Rain lurked around the southern Wairarapa on our return from the South Island early this year.

  1. Just returned from several days at the beach. I like to go down and sit in the evening, when most everyone is gone, to just contemplate the horizon. This much I know, navigators are very brave souls ...

  2. Barbara, I agree. As much as I love the sea, it's not my natural element and to be out there on it, depending on my skills to make a safe landing, is not something I'd like to imagine. Nevertheless, I doubt I'd ever be bored by the sea, and as for horizons — well, I find them endlessly fascinating.

  3. Who knew that GREY could be such an interesting colour? A very evocative photo. I love it.
