Summer cloud, No. 1 Line, Pohangina Valley

With the shortest day now gone, I can look forward to summer and the days of dry hills and long grass.

  1. Zhoen, you might be closer to the mark than you realise. The Maori name for the North Island is Te Ika a Maui — the Fish of Maui — so called because of the legend about its origin.
