If I could get up there it would stop me, too! It must change with the light every few minutes, truly beautiful. I keep wondering if I could/should do that flight!
Zhoen, as spring brings warmer temperatures, that felted appearance is changing rapidly. It's the usual farmer's problem: not enough feed or too much. No chance of turning any excess into hay or silage on this kind of country, either.
Time and time again your images leave me speechless. I look and I look, and I look again ... Is this what Joyce meant by 'aesthetic arrest'? Thank you.
That view would take my breath away and stop me in my tracks - each and every time I was fortunate enough to see it.

EC, I'm fortunate enough to see it often. Very fortunate.
ReplyDeleteRR, sometimes the light's dull and flat, but even then I love at least the sense of height and space.
You know you're always welcome here.
In this moment, a felted landscape.

ReplyDeleteKia Ora Pete,
ReplyDeleteI especially enjoy the smokey mysterious allure of the distant hills...

This photo looks like a painting. Beautiful hues of green. Happy Spring! (We are entering my favorite season: Autumn). Cheers, Maureen
ReplyDeleteKia ora Robb. Crossing my fingers I can get out in those hills with you and John soon. :^)
ReplyDeleteMaureen — and I'm entering mine: Spring!
