Rhododendron forest

March 2007, at Tadapani on the Annapurna Sanctuary trail, looking down towards the lowlands. Sometimes the view from the Himalaya can be as beautiful as the view towards the Himalaya.

    Ooh, I love the light and the texture of that hillside - it looks almost like a tapestry even this close. Cool.

    Barbara, the resemblance to a tapestry struck me too.

    Watercats, I'd have been happy to have gazed at it for ages too, if it hadn't been so bone-chillingly cold!
