I'm seeing curves, particularly the arc of the plug chain echoing the curve at the base of the cup, the line the zebras are standing on, and the nearer rim of the cup, while being inverse to the curve of the rim at the rear. I also like the slight touch of bronze toning which enriches an otherwise monochromatic photograph.
Thanks Lesley — plenty there :^) It's interesting how superficially minor elements, like the bronze toning, can have such a disproportionate influence.
I see sunshine.
ReplyDeleteVery appealing. The warm sheen of the wet metal behind the white gloss of sun dappled glaze, then the stark geometric zebra.
ReplyDeleteRR & Zhoen, thanks for looking and seeing, and for taking the time to say what you saw :^)
