RR & Emma, thank you. Two years might have made little difference (I hope they're still generally as happy as they appear in this photo), but ten years from now, in what kind of world will they live? I really hope those smiles still come as easily.
I guess we see with our own eyes, but I see maturity and (grief?) in the eyes, as if they've had to deal with adult concerns too early. They sure have nice teeth!
Their happiness seems to shine through - they are really beautiful, and I guess they still are two years later.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot, Pete. Girls are girls the world over, too, it seems.

ReplyDeleteWhat lovely girls and a lovely photo, Pete.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are able to go back to India one day :-)
Thanks Anne-Marie :^)
ReplyDeleteA photo like this and smiles like that are what makes life worth living for!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more, Miguel.

ReplyDeleteMichael, you might be right — it's a pretty tough life there and I can't imagine kids stay kids for long.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what you said to get such open smiles. Seems like there might be charm on two sides of the camera. :)
ReplyDeleteActually, VJ, we had no verbal language in common, but the ability of a smile to evoke a response in kind is amazing. Thanks :^)
