This is how I'd like to remember it. But now the far end of the beach has been "developed". A cluster of architecturally designed houses; lawns with private please keep off signs. A beach access sign directing the visitor. (We control who goes where. Thankyou). I thought of Snufkin and wished I knew where I could find hattifattener seed.

Kia ora Pete,
ReplyDeleteThe shades of light in the Aoteroan sky always ehtrall me. I think we may all need to be Snufkin like these next years, and if you come across any hattifattener please do share some around. I would personally pay a visit to ACT headquarters to plant a few.
Cheers,
Robb
I totally agree with Rob on the shades of sky light. More than that, I find the New Zealand's sky totally... crazy!
ReplyDeleteRobb, if I lay my hands on hattifattener seeds I'll share them round ;^)
ReplyDeleteCheers Greg.
This beach looks like one the Hattifatteners might land on, especially at midsummer. And our weather is so changeable, I'm sure it would keep them happy. Are you sure there weren't any just behind the bank?
ReplyDeleteLovely, delicate colour in the sky. I saw a dawn one with those shades last weekend, when I was down among the South Canterbury mountains.
Lesley, the sky there that night was full of hattifattener seeds, but they were a long way out of reach.
