The rainbow in the east over the southern Ruahine Range had already appeared early that morning over Zigzag Road in the west.

I've been reading about storms so much lately that it is lovely to see a rainbow! Gorgeous. Thank you.
Thanks everyone. The downside of rainbows is that they signify rain, and while that's sometimes welcome, I've seen enough of it lately.
